This coastal home along Centennial Parkway marks Summit Glazing’s fourth project on this scenic drive and is a showcase of what high-performance Schüco glazing can do for modern residential design in the Vancouver and British Columbia climate. Working closely with the builder and design team, Summit Glazing supplied and installed a continuous package of floor-to-ceiling glazing that maximizes daylight and frames uninterrupted views toward the water.
The main living areas feature expansive Schüco ASE 80 DesignLine lift-and-slide doors that open entire walls to the patio and outdoor entertaining spaces, creating a seamless transition between the interior and exterior while maintaining excellent air and water performance when closed. Throughout the bedrooms and operable window areas, slim-profile Schüco AWS 75 PD systems provide clean sightlines, natural ventilation, and robust thermal performance, supporting energy-efficient and comfortable living year-round. To manage solar gain on this exposed site, integrated Schüco louvre systems provide adjustable shading, reducing overheating on sunny days and improving interior comfort without blocking the view.
As a Vancouver-based glazing contractor, Summit Glazing was responsible for the full supply and installation of all Schüco window walls, lift-and-slide doors, operable windows, and louvre shading on this Centennial Parkway residence. The result is a cohesive aluminum glazing package that enhances the architecture, protects against coastal weather, and demonstrates how German-engineered Schüco systems can be tailored to high-end residential projects across the Lower Mainland and British Columbia.
