Deep Cove

Perched above the water in Deep Cove, this project is conceived as a North Shore lookout where glazing does most of the talking. Summit Glazing is providing a Schüco package built around FWS 50.SI curtainwall, AWS 75 BS.SI high-performance windows, ASE 80 Design Line lift and slide doors, and AD UP swing doors, coordinated with Falken Reynolds and Lightfoot Construction to keep the architecture as open as the views to Belcarra and Indian Arm. The hillside site requires careful detailing to ensure that frames remain crisp while drainage, movement, and air-tightness are maintained under control. When complete, the home will read as a stacked composition of glass rooms, with large-format Schüco assemblies pulling daylight deep into the plan and setting a clear benchmark for coastal residential glazing in North Vancouver.
